Our Fuel Additives are used by terminals, distributors, marketers, aftermarket blenders/formulators and end users in marine, power, mining, agriculture and land transport industries to overcome contamination problems, enhance performance, reduce consumption and emissions and protect their fuel.
Our Fuel Additives can, in the most part, be categorised (alphabetically) as below.
- Antifoam
- Reduce foaming in petroleum products allowing for faster fill, reduced odour release and splashback.
- Antioxidants
- Used to stabilise gasoline and jet fuels by retarding gum formation.
- Ash Modifiers for Heavy Fuel Oil
- A combination of ash inhibitor and combustion catalyst to improve combustion and ensure exhaust valves and heater tubes remain free of ash deposits.
- Biocides
- A non corrosive fuel additive that kills microbes which can grow in diesel, bio diesel and jet resulting in clogged filters and corroded fuel systems.
- Cetane Number Improvers
- Increase the cetane number of diesel fuel and provide a positive operational improvement in cold start, emissions and noise reduction.
- Cold Flow Improvers
- Improves low temperature operability performance of diesel by depressing cloud point, cold filter plugging point or pour point of middle distillates.
- Combustion Improvers for Diesel and Heavy Fuel Oil
- Enhances cylinder combustion improving engine efficiency, reducing deposit build up and emissions.
- Conductivity Improvers
- Static dissipaters help prevent potentially dangerous static discharge when loading low conductivity fuels.
- Corrosion Inhibitors
- A full range that inhibits the corrosion tendency of fuel/water mix and protects fuel systems and distribution infrastructure. Liquid and vapour phase corrosion inhibitors also available that afford protection of infrastructure including pipe work and concrete.
- Demulsifiers
- Provides enhanced protection against the development of fuel/water emulsions.
- Diesel Fuel Detergents
- Provide diesel fuel with clean up and keep clean capability. Used to reduce nozzle and injector fouling providing sustained improved fuel economy, increased power and acceleration and reduced emissions.
- Diesel Stabilisers
- Additives that provide colour stability and reduce degradation of Diesel.
- Dyes and Markers
- Coloured dyes used for oil, fuels and other products to differentiate grades or provide unique identification/traceability. Markers provide invisible (covert) traceability allowing identification of fuel and quantitative analysis of purity.
- Gasoline Detergents
- Provide gasoline with a clean up and keep clean capability controlling deposit formation in carburettors, fuel injectors, intake valves and combustion chambers.
- Heavy Fuel Oil Stabilisers
- Additives to control the sludge formation in tanks and fuel systems. Also provides greater stability of blended fuels.
- Lubricity Additives
- Used in LSD and ULSD diesel to improve its lubricating property thereby reducing fuel system component wear.
- Multifunctional additive packages
- Tailored formulations offered for diesel and gasoline to help refiners and blenders to maximise fuel quality, meet national fuel specifications and provide formulators and marketers with a cost effective means to differentiate their fuels.
- Octane Number Improvers
- Improves the octane response of gasoline resulting in more power, better acceleration and smoother running.
- Seal Swell Actives
- Reduces the seal swell tendency of finished products providing enhanced antileak characteristics.
